TUE 23rd: The Forgotten Five and other acts The Palettes and Monkeytin feature friends and students
from the University community and beyond in a free night of music performance opening the season.
WED 24th : Our fantastic old friends BIG FAT SKANK have beeing perfoming ska reggae and jungle around town and SE Australia
for almost 20 years. From the ashes of such bands as Boxing Tostados, Beer and Skatals, The Sparnettes, The Pork Swords and The Special Guests, these big fat ska band has over 150 years of musicianship on board - 2 sets, plus see them perform all different instruments
in Ballarat's all new act: THE ALFREDTONES
THU 25th: David
Lewis is back with his 3 piece moody acoustic outift, DIRTBIRD recently hailed as one of the best acts at The Castlemaine Acoustic Music Festival. and JOE EASTCOTT and 2 FROM GOO provide acoustic support to this great night of new Australian written music.
FRI 26th We've billed this one as one of our biggest and best gigs of the year, The Dead Salesmen's Happy Hayward fronts
his new minimalist acoustic combo THE UNDERMINERS with Chris Morris from The Nultys and The Blues Benders, and will feature
2 sets to contrast the band's diversity, plus Melbourne's moodiest and coolest mellow music act THE DUMB EARTH, who will
launch their new critically acclaimed album 'DRY LAND'.
SAT 27th: The Live on Lydiard 9 Broadcast Finale will feature Blues and roots music from Pete Donohue ,
dark pop outfit Domino Theory, back for their second broadcast and recording session,
and the very special surprise return of of 7 piece ska and roots band THE SKA VENDORS, judged our best act broadcast in 2005.
The band are playing 2 sets and come on stage just after 10pm - DONT MISS IT, $6 on the door, licended bar and video link to foyer.
