LIVE ON LYDIARD - Internet Broadcasts
BROADCAST INFORMATION

IMPORTANT: We are using one free Real Server to broadcast the performances, with limited connections available. The broadcasts are more about the ability of the students to technically produce high quality audio and video material live via the Internet, than the ability to reach thousands of people simultaneously. We are working on the ability to expand our viewing and listening audience in the near future. Thanks to Unix, Internet and Online Services at The University for their continued support for our broadcasting. Join our chat room from the INTERACT page to get the latest information. We will try and update the main page for this broadcast with information if we cannot get the video streaming working for some reason. IF we are busy the chat room may be temporarily unattended, so hang around! Find out if we have stopped broadcasting for some reason or if our Real Server is full. If we are constantly full, we will diconnect all users at the end of each act to allow others the chance to connect. If you can't connect straight away, check out HELP page and play the test file Follow the instructions on the HELP page if you are having trouble connecting. Send us email or join the chat room if you need live help. The broadcast is LIVE, but only a few on-demand video clips will be available after the broadcast. It is too costly and time consuming to place the entire broadcast on demand. Sorry... Sorry, but we do not have the time or resources to help everyone who can't connect, due to issues with settings, software or hardware with their own computers. We assure you the broadcasts work (we do tests with people watching in Melb and Syd before each broadcast). You will know if there is a complete Internet infrastructure breakdown if the Live video stream is not working, there is no-one in the chat room for more than 30 mins and there are no updates on the main page for this broadcast!
